The answer to this question varies on whom you ask. Some say we come here out of choice, and don't have to be here. We choose to be. Of course said choice would have repercussions as karma could be incurred. Keeping us here longer than we had hoped. With us needing to work it out. As I've heard some say that earth karma must be balanced on earth... And if such a thing were true, it's probably best to live in a cave and not interact with others to risk new karma from incurring.

I was slated for the 4th dimension reincarnation, but that not all in my soul family were ready to transition so I chose to come back and assist them.

This makes sense. We have similar going on in our soul family.

In regards to the original question, sometimes it helps to look at it from another perspective...so say those who aren't ready or in their last lives probably wouldn't even ponder the thought. But how to know, I do think there are inner stirs, those soft whispers when your still, a gentle nagging feeling, maybe at some point your oversoul, guide or spirit teacher may come to you and start training. I imagine things will start to come together, like resolving old problems, even learning new ways of Be-ing. But all in all, IDK, it's fun to ponder, and I love the responses.

i too have wondered about this too. All I know is i am a very old soul. I always assumed I would keep coming back. I have so many frequent life points that I figured i had a lifetimes membership that never expired.
