I am an earth sign and I get along with other earth signs. Most people in my family are earth signs.
I love capricorn, they are hard working, work is always in their mind, they get things done right. They are loyal, value commitments and are very intelligent. They feel things deeply and surprise you with the depth and intuition they have once in a while. Mostly they do not open themselves up emotionally a lot, but they have more depth than is apparent on the outside.

Same here!
I was told not to expect my b-day breakfast at 5am when the big 5-9 arrives ...
Geez-o-pete, I labored for hours giving birth to these people!
What's a mother gotta do to get a bottle of water & a slice of cinnamon toast in the wee hours!
I'm sure they won't have a problem staying up till dawn for New Year's Eve partying ...

Happy belated b-day Sarian!

Hey, I read somewhere but don't remember where but you mentioned your first holiday alone or year? I will tell you from my own experience after getting divorced which I filed for...it is the best to be out of a bad marriage and have time for yourself. Enjoy and get re-acquainted with yourself again!

Divorce judgement is expected between 1/24/17 to 2/6/17. If everything goes according to plans I'll soon for the 1st time since 1988 to be living by myself.

I am looking forward to living alone for awhile. You're right, I do need to get re-acquainted with myself again.

Enjoy the bubble bath. I hope my next place has a big enough tub for me.

LOl Really! That's funny.
I agree with Angelic. I would like to say that I enjoy Caps humour. Their realistic approach and attention to detail. I like how calm they are. I've never seen a Cap loose their head over something. Maybe they go punch a wall when no ones looking? A lot of what I have read about them says their best matches are other Earth signs and Water signs...specifically Cancer and Pisces. To me its a balance of opposites, Pisces dreams up the dream and Cap makes it happen or kicks pisces up the pants with a reality boot (in the most gentle way)
All in all Caps are great. Happy Birthday month Cappys

Lelya I do understand that as a pisces. Like Caps we feel things deeply, just known to be more emotional. Pisces are generally natural empaths which makes some things confusing for the fish. This is not the pisces support group thread lol I'll stop hijacking. But that is good that Caps can forgive. Time is a wonderful healer.

forgot to add so edit it in : Khal wouldn't it be great to have a bath customized for you? I always picture the perfect bath to have an aquatic aquarium surrounding it. Fish's love a good soak. See; there i go dreaming :)

That is an interesting perspective. I have 1 cousin in my whole family that is a Cappy and I don't know Her that well. So they are a mystery to me.

Not some, a lot for Me. After years of running from emotional stuff it's been a real eye opener to finally just let them loose. And very fun too. And Inika is right about time being a good healer.

I thought of that about 20 years ago and determined it can't be safely done. The structure is easy to make and can look good. The problem is thermal coupling between bath water and fish water. Either a cool bath or possibly boiled fish, not good.

Below is a picture of my dream bathroom. It is in an estate in Hawaii on 1.3 acres called Hale Ku Mana or in english: House of Spiritual Healing.
The only enclosed spaces here are the loo and walk-in robe, which runs the length of the bathroom. I would have koi in the pool around the bathtub and floating steps.

Thanks everyone for birthday wishes! LOL, Really! My doctor said my daughter would not be born that day...I had a visit that day and said I felt like she'd be born. He checked me said No, no, probably another week (she was due the 17th!) I went home and at 9:30 p.m...she was ready.

Khalli (I can never remember how to spell it)...You will be fine. I've not been alone really since I was 17...went from one bad relationship to the next...but married waaaaaaaaay too long. After my marriage my best friend and I were together but he has his own issues and while I miss him a lot, I need this time to find myself again (the aloneness is hard at times) but I've not been able to experience time for me in decades and it's nice when I can keep the missing of a loved one away... Oh well. He is a pisces....he could be extremely sensitive and other times cold as a rock. He didn't seem very empathic...as for his sensitivity, it was due to how things impacted his emotions. But honestly, I thought we got along fantastic. We clicked great in so many areas but he had a very superficial and shallow side that (I thought) ruined something that could have been great...and he had no filter between his thoughts and his mouth...

OMGosh I want that bathroom. I have my 'dream house' on my refrigerator. It's a Timber Frame home. Gosh I love those.

When I read things about Capricorns I can relate to much of it, but there are some things that don't fit me...I couldn't tell you offhand without looking at the so-called traits. What I can say is we are ...at least I am...extremely loyal to a fault...probably lol. my daughter is too and we are creative..nature loving...industrious ...

Happy belated birthday!

I was waiting when someone made a Capricorn thread

These are the only two Cappys I've known with any depth, and they have this in common: both are forces to be reckoned with energetically. They do before dawn what takes others all day. They seem to have endless creativity and ideas for projects, but they don't just think about them, they manifest them, build stuff - make things happen. Inexhaustible. They are willful. Their way or the hiway! But I suspect this is because they have such a clear vision of what they want to take place. At the same time, they are generous with their talents and gifts, nurturing, willing and eager to share a good thing.

Tripple like

Capricorn is 'Yang' dominant/ masculine energy. On the flip side, I think Capricorn can also be a very 'harsh' sign, one who can easily detach from emotion (which makes them great bosses and Corporate climbers too). Loyalty and trust is incredibly significant to Capricorns. It's also a sign ruled by Saturn, the planet of karma & authority. Capricorn is also The Devil Card in Tarot; reminds you to balance the Yin and Yang energy. This card also reminds you that the only person that holds you hostage to your circumstances/obsessions/addictions are you. So keep that Devil over your shoulder in check Capricorns aren't afraid to dip low to their deep dark space. In fact, many find comfort in being alone for long periods of time. They are significant thinkers in this solitude. Hence, the goat treading alone in the mountains. I can imagine it being challenging dating one( particularly the males) especially if your not use to being alone or are very needy.

However, I say once you dig way deep into a Cappy's heart ( if a Caps ever lets you get there pffff ) you wont regret it. We love deep and are devoted and eternally loyal to that one person. Unless, of course you cross one the wrong way, than your pretty much on the deceased and decay list. Again, loyalty is everything to a Cappy. This isn't a hot and fast sign, it's a very grounded Earth sign. Yes, I know generalizations brought to you by generalizations

For those who have Saturn or Capricorn in their charts
Being Ruled by Saturn

Saturn is all about karma. It’s the planet with a conscience, the one that reminds you, even when you don’t want to hear it, that everything you do has a cumulative effect on your soul. What kind of mark do you want to make on the world, and how do you want to be remembered? Saturn urges you to take these questions seriously, buckle down and get to work. Saturn rules the conscientious signs of Capricorn and Aquariu
Saturn is thought of as the taskmaster planet because of its stern and sometimes guilt-inspiring influence in our lives. Whereas Venus and Jupiter make life easier and more fun, Saturn keeps you in check, reminding you that all play and no work would leave you both homeless and penniless! If you relate to the feeling that you’re not working hard enough in life, that’s probably Saturn’s influence in your chart. This planet operates kind of like a parental figure, one that can be a little too severe at times. After all, there is certainly a time and place to be carefree; to forget your responsibilities and just enjoy yourself

it's a lot of work loving one, give up now while you can! LOL!

Looking stuff up and reading what you wrote there, that would be one lucky and blessed person then.

@ the fine print. Guess that is from boss/corporate climber traits!
