That's great advice, thank you! I'm gathering new information daily so I'll be as close to ready as I can be.

For the most part, people are pretty excited about paranormal, spiritual, or psychic events. Other people deal with it in their own way.

We once had a playful spirit in the house. We had some friends over for dinner one night. While we were eating, the radio turned on. Our guests were a bit surprised, but we reassured them that it was just a friendly spirit. They took it as a joke and kept eating. A bit later, the radio changed stations.. and they asked again about what was happening. We reiterated that it was a spirit. This time they looked a bit more concerned, but refrained from commenting further.

No don't be sorry, I'm one of those people who are excited about the paranormal. I wasn't always comfortable with it though, so I understand where your guests were coming from! That radio would have surprised me too lol

You could say that I've had to pick my moments. I tend to keep this sort of stuff pretty close to my chest (unless it's in an anonymous forum).

Carnate, what a sweet and wonderful retell of your experience. What lovely advice on dating and marriage.

I think the moments of magic are pretty unexplained or explainable ((not a word - hahaha)) to friends and/or family who ~ just aren't 'there'. And it makes perfect sense to those who are. I haven't had nearly the experiences others have, but I've had enough to be an absolute believer in a mysterious power within our~self as well as the flow of life; period. Over and out, so to say. Thanks ~

Thank you for the feedback, and you're right. A lot of people just aren't ready yet. Luckily, most of the time we can choose our moments.. or explain things in a way that is suitable for the 'everyday person'.

I think the hardest part is when you see other people suffering from some spiritual affliction when you're unable to step in and properly help. There's only been a few times where we've had to let people know of our 'secret life' in order to help them. Although, most often, the help is accepted (and problems solved) with the other people deciding that they don't want to know any more or hear about anything else.
