Does this mean anything?

Does it mean anything if you keep seeing a person very often?

Maybe this doesn't mean anything, but it got me thinking. For the past two years, I've been seeing often this girl around my college campus. I go to ucla and its a huge campus. The first time I saw her was in this class I had two years ago. Then this year, I have seen her numerous times. She is not in my program and major either. I saw her in this class we had this year, and one time far away in the auditorium she has established eye contact with me. Another time, I would be in line at a restaurant, and there she was. She stared at me for a while too. I would pass in a hallway, in a completely different building, and there she would be. Then, I remember during the first week of school, I had see her around campus and we had established eye contact. I remember thinking to myself at that moment, that I should have said something to her, and regretted because I may not see her again. A week later, I go to the chess club I joined and I came in late and I notice, she is there sitting in front of me. I couldn't believe it, I started to think it was very funny. Then the following week, we were entering a building and she was in front of me, and as she opened the door, she was still kind of far from me, she completely turned around and we had this long eye contact but we didnt talk. The following weeks at the chess club, even after the chess club would end, I would think and regret not trying to talk to her but would think to myself I may see her again later on in the day since I see her so often ( we are many people at the chess club) and later on in the day, the same thing would happen, I would see her and we would have long eye contact. Eventually, I tried to talk to her, and when I did, either she was very shy or uninterested but was very unresponsive and didnt want to continue talking, at least I tried haha. Maybe all this doesn't mean anything, but it just got me thinking, was this a sign, a coincidence? When you keep bumping into the same person?

No I don't think that it means anything--at least not right now.....It is like running into the same person on an elevator in a high rise office building--does not have to mean a thing.....

This mean you have to wait more and practice it lot.

It could mean a lot of things. 1 being maybe you knew each other in a nother life. and as the two posters say above me.....

She sounds like she is being drawn to you for some reason,and like you she does not under stand why.l would just let things continue to go the way they are.If you are both destined to meet you will.Some times you find that something happens that brings you both together.l would let things flow and just see what happens

Maybe she's either shy...or she already has a boyfriend, and doesn't want to mix things up.
Why not just boldly ask her on a date? See what she says. Problem over.
The co-incidences could mean something. But the long eye-contact could mean more.....
Or the long eye contact could mean she's thinking "Who is that guy who keeps staring at me?" and nothing else....

Life is so difficult. We should be issued an instruction manual when we come down here! LOL
