I love
the lover
who has yet to be born
Unaware
he is the bearer
of indescribable love
As he marches
through living
putting his pebbles
into his gatherings
one by one
trying to fill
what can never be filled
He ponders
in moments
why all heaviness
lacks the weight
He looks past
and looking ahead
He stops at present
without reason
at loss
Although he has stayed
on a straight even road,
feeling of lost
has never left
When he learns to
look above
to endless sky and beyond,
he can let
his heart fly
As he let it be
lifting himself from the road
unafraid
letting go of his anchor,
he will find
a true meaning
of just being.
Recognizing finally
He is the bearer
of indescribable love
and always has been...

home at last...

Trouble times
The world now
Upside and down
Our destruction
Has always been
Our own within
Never this or that
Certainly not others
Our enemy resides deep
Within our inner beings
Unleashing with fear
What lessons uncovered
This troubled time...
Was it the design
Of higher beings?
Trying to listen
My soul's whispers

Yet not too long ago
We were joyful in the easy & slow
Origin of fear
To lose what we hold dear
Our body death spears
Either we go numb
And so succumb
Or signal an upright thumb
Our victory
In stillness sedentary
Being bliss within in continuity
Born to die and then be reborn
Or here & now delusion shorn
The light of love does us adorn
Within
