Need Help With Resources

okay ive been pagan for a while now. im eclectic because i feel that it allows me such freedom and i can make my path a blend of what resonates with me. right now im leaning toward greco egyptian poltyheism as a base for my path because these are the two pantheons that have stood out to me and i swear its not because of rick riordans book although they are a good read but not for indepth mythology wise. does anybody on this site know of any reliable resources that i can look into.

also just for a fun coversation, whats your favorite egyptain/greek myth and or deity of the pantheon and why.

my favorite greek deity is hecate. because for some reason her name stands out to me. when i got a book on greek mythology it mentioned her scarcely and it kinda ticked me off becuase i was like come on theres got to be more. and i like that she is basically a goddess of transition and change which is seen as she was changed through history to modern day.

my favorite egyptian deity i think would have to be either baset or anubis. im not sure why though and i doubt its because im a cat and dog person.

Well if you wish to learn about Egyptian mysteries read books by Sir E. A. Wallis Budge. I'm not sure what the best books on the Greek tradition.

There's lots of info on Hecate that you can find on the internet and in books. She is a Titan and pre-Olympian. There's a site called Hecate's Cauldron you could visit but I honestly don't know how good it is.

My favourite Egyptian deity would have to be Isis although Bast (not baset ) is amazing too.

If you're interested in Graeco-Egyptian syncretism, then have a look here:
http://www.neosalexandria.org/

My books include (out of 100 odd!)

Theogony / Hesiod; transl. by A. N. Athanassakis.
Library of Greek mythology / Apollodorus; transl. R. Hard.
Ancient Greek cults / H. Larson.
Hellenic polytheism: household worship.
Bearing torches: a devotional anthology for Hekate / ed. by Sannion.

Complete gods and goddesses of Ancient Egypt / R. H. Wilkinson.
Ancient Egyptian prayerbook / T. L. Siuda.
Ancient Egyptian literature / transl. J. L. Foster

Have a rummage around these sites, if you don't already know them:

My household gods, represented by statues on my altar, are Hestia, Hekate, Asckepios, and Tyche.
