I've noticed that I'm having a hard time. Especially disciplining him! I try to be firm, but he knows how to melt my heart. I've always known we had a connection, but I always figured it was from the past life. The more I research the more I'm not sure if he's a soulmate or TF. It's not painful to be separated, but couldn't imagine what life would be like without him, but I couldn't imagine life without either son. My youngest does not take me seriously lol.

hahaha, yeah. The couple of times I had to get onto my TS while he was a student, it just about killed me. I just didn't like it. My son, who could well be what I call a soulmate is difficult as well. But I don't feel pain at separation like I do with my twin. You know it's all just labels, but my guess is that your son is a member of your soul family at least. It helped me a lot when someone explained it like this.. (now I'm a Christian, so this has a God-based belief system backing it up. Not trying to preach, I believe everyone has a right to their own beliefs. ) ... She pointed out that our children are not ours, per se. They are God's. He gives them to us for a short while - trusting us to raise them right and love them the way He loves us. I can't exactly explain why, but this way of thinking has given me the ability to separate myself enough from my children to be an authoritative figure when I need to be. :)

Maybe this can help you as well. Best wishes, parenting is hard sometimes. But totally worth it.
