I'd like to hear
With untainted ears.
I'd like to listen
To the original
Soaring, fearless symphony
And release uninhibited,
Ecstatic tears.
I'd like to be ushered out
At the end of this life
To the crescendo of violins
And the sound of the choir
As it sings-
Guiding my light
Back to the sea of connectivity
'Singing my spirit home'
Back to the harmony.

Life is a continuum
Of cycles-
That rotate 'round and 'round-
For all this time
I have remained
Almost void of the sound-
The void of silence-
In my time
I've learnt that silence is a lie,
Subtle music has always
Permeated my lives-
Sometimes-
Most of the time-
I just don't listen,
I just don't exist with it-
I convince myself
Of it's total lack of existence .

I don't care-
If I ascend
And the world forgets me,
I just want to ascend
To the sound of the symphony-
I've got nothing to prove-
I'm honouring my truth
I'm just like you!
All I want is peace
To reign free!
All I want
Is to join in with the harmony!
