Shades

Momentary silence whispers in her ear
simplicity shines as it nears
in her garland, so rare
her aroma,
the scent of heaven
lush shades of colours
haunting memories
forever embedded in her soul
Her spirit travels in time
with every heartbeat
its all so sublime

As the sun lingers in passing shadows
a fragile blanket passes like a storm cloud
a heart weakened by harsh winds
brought back to its former glory



A travelers hallmark
a seekers revenge on time itself
taken away to places unknown
a keep sake,
a gift so rare
heartstrings divine


As her guitar gently weeps
an echo ripples out
shores laden with sand castles
gently wash away
by the seas captive stance
she tip toes and twirls
every move
captured by the summer breeze


Ocean currents sweep
gracefully
around her feet
waves of love
surrender her
floating away
an endless dream ride
to faraway lands....
