........ or you can get one of the newer translations of the Bible that reads correctly such as the NIV that renders that verse as:
Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
If you look at the Greek word ἐντὸς, it is only used twice in the Bible. According to Strong's Concordance, the word can be translated as "within, among". So, which is the proper word to use? In this case, you have to look at the word in context with the rest of the Bible. For example, Jesus spoke in the Lord's Prayer of "let your kingdom come" and to "let your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven". Obviously, he was not talking about a Kingdom within. He was talking about a physical government.
The one who initiated this conversation was the Pharisees who had no idea what Jesus was all about. They were clueless that before he was a human, he held the greatest position of all - the one who had created every thing except himself: he, being the first of creation. The Pharisees could not comprehend that he would play an important part in bringing forth the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven. This information was 'way over the head' of the Pharisees. Nor could the Pharisees grasp the importance of the up coming event when Jesus would die and his fulfilling the Law. The bringing about the Kingdom of God on Earth had already begun just as it had been prophesied and the Pharisees were clueless as to what was going on.
Then examine the Book of Revelation. John talks about major changes. Actually, he talks about a one World government and the restoration of what was, paradise on Earth, will be restored on Earth. The issues revolving around free will and who can do a better job will be resolved.

The idea of one world government comes more from masonry than from the Supreme Being... Just saying.

What do you think the Kingdom spoken of in the Lord's Prayer is all about? It speaks of a government (the one in Heaven), coming down and having dominion over the Earth.

1 Peter 3:19-20 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

The word for "preached" is kay-roos'-so, we find the same word in Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
Everybody, everybody is welcomed in God's Kingdom...
This is my opinion and this is what that verse says, even those spirits in prison were given the chance to come back Home.

I would be careful basing your theology around one verse, especially one that is so debated and misunderstood.
Yes, we are welcomed into God's Kingdom, IF we put our faith in Christ and repent of our wickedness. This is the plain gospel, no other way about it.

people that put their faith in Christ believe he is capable of great things, and suspect things even greater. this enthusiasm might be misplaced or it might not. we will find out one day, maybe your pot smoking uncle might be right there in heaven and you think, what he never repented or went to church. that might happen or it might not. one things for sure, here is where we get to choose what we think happens without knowing!

Sitting there with a beer in his hand,
is the greatest man who ever lived
his name, synomymos with God
is the ultimate God-man elevated to God and indistinguishable from God
certain aspects of that bring people back to life
all agree of that
not as zombies
as penniless peasant floating around lake Gallilee
pffftst. that's that sound of a can of beer being opened by Jesus
he's drinking it. he's not sharing it around, he's telling you how to open your own can
its no use having a lot of petrol sloshing around in your fuel tank if your vehicle is off the road and illegal to drive, not that it could because it's also not even got the engine running but that's no insurmountable obstacle. you work on it. you fix it up. you try to get it legal and if you have another car take good care of it.
