what are the signs that your guides are near or your angels on a few occasions in the past i have felt something touching me on the shoulder. or something brush past me could this be my spirit guide.

another question is how do i make contact with them?

Use Meditation and visualise the Guide. Others here can suggest a Meditation.

Be sensitive to a good positive connection, it will feel empathetic in nature. You should feel love in the Heart as a greeting. Get to know the particular "atmosphere" of that Being who greets you regularly, in that way. Ask for the Guide to show you his/her presence when they come, to make sure you know it's them. Look for the same "vibe" each time. Then you can start to communicate, perhaps clairaudiently. You may see them if you go out of body.

A spirit who is "hanging around" and isn't your Guide or helper may not be able to radiate Love, they may not have the necessary frequencies to be able to do this. Always ask for them to show you this Love, so you know what spirit you are dealing with. Don't accept anything that doesn't feel "in the Heart".

Your Guide/helper(s) may, at times have to show you things which are challenging. It depends what you need to learn. But it's always wise if they can identify themselves first so you know you are working with them.
