Hi,

Alcohol lowers your resolve, so quitting drinking while you work through quitting smoking is a great idea because you can separate them as being complementary activities.

It took me 18 months to quit smoking, & when I returned to drinking I didn't feel the need to smoke at all, & never have since. My desire to drink has also declined a lot.

It can take a long time to cleanse yourself of smoking, & it could take you well over a year to get comfortable as a non-smoker too!
