smell in dreams

just had a dream i was with this guy and i smelled cigarette smoke while hugging him. the face wasn’t clearly his, but i felt his presence/energy, it was a real experience and i believe it was him (or maybe i want to believe?). anyone ever felt any of this? maybe it is the answer to my question: who is the right guy for me? even though i don’t smoke. he said in the dream he was trying to smoke less, something like that. and before my first dream with him i had dreamed of a cigarette on the floor. only that. very curious. maybe it was announcing his arrival in my dreamworld? now back to sleep. it is 1:30am lol

cigarette smoking is an addiction. the dream may be cluing you in to the idea
that the 'man of your dreams' is working on some personal problem that's
become a (seeming) part of his nature. it could be an invitation for you to
expand your 'applicant pool', and accept that "mr right" could be a 'diamond
in the rough' type. i don't see anything indicating that you'll need to help this
mystery man overcome his challenge... maybe just encouragement, or acceptance.
