Thank you annonafox letting us know what happened. I was happy I was able to get into the forum this morning. I thought it was the end of this forum for me as I was not able to get into it. I could not remember my details. I think I remembered but it would not work.

It's still a little "bumpy" (when posting a message frequently comes up saying the site is too busy, and to wait a moment to re-post) Too busy...? Something may still be "overloading" the server (?)
A good idea if posting anything which can't easily be re-written, or took ages to get together..... Copy it to Notepad first so as not to lose it in case that happened mid-post, as things can disappear into cyberspace during glitches like that.

Greetings tp you All,
Phew! Thank goodness to be back. When I saw the words 'FORBIDDEN' and all that went with it I thought I had been banned from the site.
Admin Lynn, my unexpected  assured me this was not the case, and told me further that any troubles were concerning SF. I was most grateful for her quick reply. Many thanks to all concerned.  A wonderful service and a wonderful site.

For future reference, 403 Forbidden is an error that represents requiring heightened authority to view certain files/folders in a data-system.
The host/maintainer probably closed down the vb to lower the load, and restricted connection to authority-bearing personnel only.

Hello
Having been through this "twice" now I am an old hat at the ok just breathe its all going to be OK we will as always get past this issue.
SF matters to much to so many that its hard when it goes.

Oh, really? You used the same password and e-mail for SF as you do for your banking account? Now, that could potentially be a problem.  |

And some problem seems to continue. Got a 'Server is too busy' message opening 2 threads.
I may get this message because I am logged in already. New logins may possibly not get access to the site.
