Recently, I rediscovered this old, wise sage after a very
long time.
I remembered reading something online about him like 5 years ago and at the time, thought it was relatively unimportant, so I totally forgot all about it and about Dr. Pillai and moved on.
A few days ago, just before Thaipusam, I thought I would just take time to brush up on the ritual side of my Tantric practice...jyotisha (astrology), Mantra and Yantra Marg etc...whose familiar face was the first to pop up? Dr. Pillai...So this time, I decided to take it more seriously.

There is a veritable goldmine of information there, from a very devout and dedicated academic, who still teaches in the old traditional way.
All day, I have been watching his videos, interspersed with watching the Thaipusam ceremony and listening to the final chapters of The Varieties of Religious Experience by William James..."spiritual multitaskings" r us. Lol
If ever Dr. Pillai would read this...and even so...I wish him many happy returns for his 70th and may be live a long and prosperous life.

It is past time I revisited all of my sacred Tantra work...The Vedic mathematics, alchemy, astrology etc, because that path is my only true salvation now.
I hope you all get as much out of Dr. Pillai's teachings as I am right now and I hope he remains with us for many years to come.
