A question

Why is it that some people, when close to death, have Near Death experiences and others don't.(I'm sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it).

Hi,

I'm bona fide, this is sort of the same as "why don't all people that sleep, recall their dreams?"

Some people will be saying that "The person that had the NDE experienced something but he/she was not allowed to remember".

Some believe that the current beliefs at the moment of death impact the afterlife, so they get what they want. But then again, this is a bit sketchy, because some things will happen for everyone regardless of their beliefs. For example, if someone gets stabbed the blood will pour out regardless of his/her belief of being "invulnerable" or not.

Another option would be that the person didn't actually had an NDE, or had the NDE, but the body wasn't damaged enough in order for consciousness to "get out".

Heard of many stories of people in which their heart stopped beating, and didn't experience "anything", such as being in a general/deep anesthesia/knocked out, or dreamless sleep, being unconscious/unaware of the gap between their last memory and the recovery moment. Many people will say that NDE are just hallucinations as the brain was anoxic (lacked oxygen) thus fighting for survival and creating those "hallucinations", as nobody was dead long enough to come back and say that there is something "out there", as the Lady that was unconscious for 6 hours in Spain and not remembering anything, mentioned on the "WHAT IS DEATH?" thread.

Some people will say that the afterlife will be like before being born, yet most people won't even recall how it was being in the womb, or at about 1-2 years of age, let alone recalling before being born (To which some people will say that they were not allowed to remember). Why is that? Some will say that the brain wasn't developed enough to be conscious or to store memories.

Many times I've heard people saying they went unconscious/unaware, as being near-death or knocked out does this mean that consciousness is brain generated?

You could ask the same thing about astral projection (OBEs).. as people get out of body each night and some remember but most don't. That all depends on how conscious you are during the experience among other things. Most are not all that aware when out eg someone can be out of body and sleeping in their astral form just like they are doing in their physical form.

That awareness depends on various things eg persons spiritual awareness and energy development of their bodies and other things.

Everyone has a soul. But we are all vibrating in various ways, different levels, etc. Lots of people have not worked through their emotional issues and that can stifle a person, as will too much thinking and seeing life in terms of concepts and mental constructs that we have built in our head. Change your attitude and you can change your world. Transform your vibration and it will transform your perception. Meditation helps to transform a person's vibration, as does just about every thing we do, say, or think. A person with a bad attitude has taken on a coarse vibration; which can be heavy. Spirituality is light in so many ways, and very simple. What we think, say, and do, as well as what we eat and drink, nurtures the type of vibration we will have.

The greater spiritual realm is made up of very fine energy, so fine that it may feel like nothing to the person who is used to feeling normal human energy. But a benevolent person, a person with compassion, empathy, serenity, etc., can experience the spiritual more readily, while they are still here on Earth. Let go of outward objects and the way that things look, everyone has their own unique spiritual journey, and what we give to each other is the work that we have done on ourselves, or the lack of work that we have done on ourselves. We can start by moving to experience the fineness of our own soul, some are so coarse that they can not yet feel that fineness.

No judgment, no good or bad, no right or wrong, just everyone is dwelling in various states of vibration. In the course of a lifetime we frequently change our own vibration, often without being aware of it. We do not see life as it is rather we see life as we are; according to our conditioning.

I have had three NDE but as you say not everyone does. the answer is not always clear as to why this happens everyone will have their own Experiences.
