Anybody else experience speaking in tongues?

When I've experienced this, the energy seemed to come from the heart center, sometimes I feel the connection as if I'm touched in my back, from a spirit. Definitely not from thought-mind.

I see it as a form of channeling, as It happens sometimes when I just have a thought that connects me with this source that I'm one with. And typically the utterance is the same, a verification of a powerful truth, as I sense it.

I have the feeling it's an ancient language, (possibly) known to that soul, rather than a secret. I have a deep connection with my ET past but don't know if that's relevant.

The fact that some understand its literal meaning just suggests they're more awake that I am, and remain more in contact with that source-reality. Or a prior identity.

I've seen an image of a dove near the ceiling, frequently when I take a bath, prior to late meditation .... can't claim this reflects the holy spirit, but it's a nice thought. Possibly to turn my mind to that concept?

Yes , pure prayer comes from the heart, in my opinion, or is generated there, free of ego desires or mental chatter.
The heart know what is needed whereas mind is easily confused.

I have also known this to be true too, i've heard that "the Devil" or "the other side" cannot hear you when you are speaking in tongues, i'm glad you brought that up, something i had forgotten until recently..

Been just watching a 5 day spiritual DVD workshop , and this is occuring quite frequently: an energetic blast up my spine, when a new technique-principle is discussed, that spirit-source confirms as true.
