If I did see 11:11s previously, I never recognized them or knew what they meant. I didn't even know what a Twin Flame was until 10 months after I met him, and it was the only thing that explained the connection. Nowadays, 11:11s are some of the more rare numbers for me to receive, but when I do get 11:11s, I know the reason.
I didn't get 11:11s for a couple of months recently until this past week, when I got about 5 in a row. For two of the days, my phone made sure to alert me in some way when it hit 11:11. It Kind of freaked me out.
I know the Twin Flame energies have been high recently, so I suppose that explains it?

I got a 11:11 just one time in a weird dream months before the meeting. I rarely see 11:11 to be honest.

Several months ago, if i remember correctly like 5-6 months before the meeting.

When I was growing up, we were taught to look for 11:11s. When you saw one, you were supposed to make a wish. Whenever I saw one in the past, I just assumed it was for good luck.
I think it's more important to gage whether or not you are on a spiritual path before meeting. That will tell you more about how ready you are to meet your TF.

11:11 isn't strictly about twin flames it's about manifestation of your thoughts which is why as foreverrestless said we used to make a wish
|

It has very little if anything to do with the so called Twinflame concept.
It simply indicates a fork in your timeline is coming up, and whether you take in or not depends on your awareness.
