How do we look in the spirit world?
This may seem like such a shallow question but i'm going to ask it anyway 
When we cross over into the spirit world can we appear to our loved ones as we were at a younger age or the age that we knew them at, like say we die when we are really old will we appear as we were when we died to others. I know this is rather superficial because we all just energy and at the heart of it how we look does not matter but personally I would like to look good when I see my loved ones in the spirit world for the first time

I heard that we will physically look the same, but APPEAR different to them because they will be using spiritual eyes to see us. So they will be seeing the soul. And also, they will know who you are. For example, some child visited his grandma (in the afterlife), but he didn't know what she looked like young. And he still knew that it was her. So people KNOW who is who even if they look different.
And there are many stories about the grandma and grandpas looking young.
So, from what I've heard, people will look beautiful to each other.

During My NDE, my grandfather and everyone else at the entrance looked
around 30 .... even the Gatekeeper who felt thousands of years old /wise

I suppose you are asking if we can shape shift to a younger age. I am not sure that happens right away. I am just thinking it depends how advanced we are and how traumatized we were from the incarnation. It seems we all more or less go to a healing center first. It does matter how we look i think. It is a reflection and identity of the soul. Apparently we DO all have a physical body on the other side. I definately want to look good for my twin soul who is waiting for me  .

You will appear pretty much as you are now, only minus the imperfections and you will take the form of yourself as you were in your prime, so 25 - 30 ish.
And your inner light will be 'seen'.
You will be recognisable to loved ones.
Your loved ones, in any case, will have been aware of your progress through earthly life.

I agree that those who have already passed would recognize our soul after we ourselves have crossed over. I think we would appear as a bright light.
Those who have crossed over can appear as any age they choose when the living see them :)

The few times I've visited there, if the soul realms were where I visited all were points of consciousness with balls of color around them. The best way I can describe, with some colors we can't see like a soul may be of an ultraviolet color, or other colors. The colors did look better then what we have here, more vibrant or more real then the colors here, which to me look more drab.
