am i doing this right
hi not sure if this is right place or not im just learning how to meditade after i have tried to meditate i feel cold and shivery(flu type symtoms) and tired after wards for about 1 hour i also had some one do a reading for me and after it was finished i sat cold shivering /tired tingling head for a while afterwards again is this normal

Some people do feel a chill at times when they meditate. You can learn some of the basics by checking on my Basic Meditation Primer thread. You can also read a lot more by doing a search on meditation.

your actual body temperature may drop slightly during meditation, if you find this happening wrap a lightweight shawl around your shoulders before you begin it really does help, also the tingling i'd take that as a positive sign as even if you're not seeing anything yet you're obviously feeling something, best of luck with it stick at it and do check out johns link hes had far more experience of meditation than i have
