A local college was playing it for their physics department

Maybe I need to catch the flick, I heard so many different opinions, both good and bad. I do tend to watch dragging Indy films, so I may enjoy it.. ?

I've found that even many sci-fi fans found that the movie took too much freedom with the science of Black Holes and what not despite all claims to the opposite by its makers.

Hahaha The science was awful but at least the creativity in liberties taken was fair to middling.

Also...I didn't feel love as an overriding theme or as the underlying unified force to be particularly well done or clearly presented, so the hype there was way overdone IMO.

So many other movies -- the Last Mimzy or Gattica or A.I. or (loads of other SciFi movies) -- did a much better job of presenting the pervasiveness of love and interbeing, IMO.

Peace & blessings,
