Owl driving me insane!!!

Should I be concerned about an owl hissing outside my bedroom window every night? I feel like it is some kind of bad omen.

Lol. Would you like to swop bedrooms then? I'm aware that owls represent different things to different people and in my case I've been struggling to let go of a cultural bias against owls. Where I come from they are viewed as bringers of bad news and even witches familiars. The hissing does sound quite ominous and I wish this owl would just tell me what it wants - or whatever wisdom its bringing.

There are quite a few owls at my place and some have even nested inside our ceiling but this one guy just won't leave me alone.

I find it kind of creepy.

Have you tried animal communication? There is a ton of info on the subject on the internet. Some think thoughts to the animal. I prefer to speak out loud to them while projecting images of what I am saying. And listen quietly for responses.

Thanks linen. I'm going to look into this. It's actually funny that you should mention this because this whole year I've had a thing with other birds where I've noticed that I always see three of the same type either flying together or just perching. Always. I sometimes even ask to see three birds and I usually almost immediately do. This is a sight I enjoy seeing, but not the owls. A few weeks ago I actually did see three HUGE owls swooping past me quite low at night. That confused me.

There is one hissing outside my room as I type and it is truly creepy

We've once had someone try to come and remove them and he told us that they are barn owls. They have white heart shaped faces and are white on the underside, but have wings of caramel and white.

I once got a good look of the underside when one of them once hovered quite close above me for a few good seconds once.

One early evening before it got dark I spotted an enormous grey horned one which I think is called an eagle owl.

Owls I can handle. It's a Crow driving me insane! Caw! caw! caw! nag nag nag! Outside on the electricity pole in the morning, shouting for his fish paste sandwich while I am trying to get showered.

I've learned to talk to my animals. I don't need a response, mine are communications of understanding and warning.

Talking to my ducks: Don't take your babies outside the yard or you will lose them.

Talking to my dogs: Please don't step on my toes or lean against my bad leg.

Talking to my cats: No, it's not time to eat.

Sometimes animals will pest me if there is something I have to take notice of, like one day sitting on a field of grass ants started biting me. Yikes those small creatures can bite It might help that I have established a site of animal wisdom I use, so I can always go there to get the answer my inner being wants me to receive

Maybe it is the cultural bias it wants you to see past?
