I have watched it. Did not like the ending of it. Couldn't the kids brought her back to life since they knew the 5 steps?
Could have been better written...and not sure they are going to continue it.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I watched the whole series. I had to stop watching it after the 2nd or 3rd episode because for some reason it made me deeply emotional. Not sure why. I finally picked it back up and watched it all the way through (Less emotional this time)

I didnt care for the ending either. It was very anticlimatic.
SO was it all a lie, was it not?

That being said the acting was excellent.

Ugly show for me, first 1/2 episode anyway. That's about all I'll watch. Deep and thoughtful can be done without ugliness and violence. I only watch shows that portray deep and thoughtful in a way that uplifts and reveals the beauty in life.

I totally feel you on that. My reason for pushing through and watching it all was mostly my interest in any fictional portrayals of near death experiences, and conscious altered states in general.

I felt like there were a lot of beautiful moments in the show that were made possible by the ugliness of it. Taoism comes to mind, the idea of the "mutual arising" of opposites.

Still, a bit heavy to watch at times, not for everyone

I literally just finished watching the OA. I have really been learning a lot about near death experiences and I really didn't know it had anything to do with it until I started watching it.

I really thought the story was beautiful.

I know it was renewed for season 2. Excited to watch it!

Drama ยท Having gone missing seven years ago, the previously blind Prairie returns home, now in her 20s with her sight restored. While many believe she is a miracle, others worry that she could be dangerous.
