Chess and hundreds of dice
I dreamed I was playing chess with my brother. I was winning and had much more pieces on the board than he did. I could finish the game and win right there and then but I wanted to bring my peons to the end of the board to upgrade them. For some reason I had to extend my arm he wanted to give me something. He gave me a die, and when I looked at it he wanted to give me more. Hundreds of dice flooded out of both of his hands, down into mine, which became overflown. A door opened in the corridor, I entered it and saw a room with a window. I felt uneasy in this room, I expected something or someone to be there but it was empty, aside from the furniture. It was lit by twilight from the outside. I think the door closed behind me before I woke up.
What should this dream mean?

Interesting dream, Rsandee.
There is the noticeable contrast between chess and dice - one a strategic game where every move is planned and the other a game of chance. It wasn't until you took the dice that more dice appeared, as if to say you took the gamble despite your patient victories, at which point the gamble led to something that went beyond your control. It only complicated things. Perhaps your brother represents a more risk taking aspect of yourself. If perhaps you've been patient in some area of your life, carefully calculating your moves, it might be that you're tempted to ease off and try your luck, which might not be the best option. I'm not sure about the rest of your dream, although it seemed to show a sequence of a risk leading you into a state of discomfort.
Alternatively, is your brother more of a risk taker than you are? Maybe there's something there, particularly if he comes to you for support or ever burdens you with anything.
Just some thoughts/ideas.
