Wondering about the pittfalls of opening your chakras.
Hello everyone!
Happy to find this place. I've heard in several interviews and other media that we run the risk of letting a negative energy or (for those out, in the out there) a lower dimensional being, when we do things like try to summon spirits we don't understand by name. Or sometimes they can attach themselves through openings made from sexual ecstasy or something.
Now I never scoff at anyone's theories. But I also have very little that Id go so far as to claim I believe in. I have an open mind but it's hard to accept anything as a truth really, when Elon Musk and some astrophysicist say that we may be living in a simulation haha.
But if there are things out there looking to get in and attach themselves to us. Could they not get in through my crown chakra if I were to open it?
Or what if they can get in sexually through my root chakra?
Like I said I don't necessarily believe or disbelieve. But I am wondering what you guys think about it. And if that doesn't ring any bells then I just wonder, what ARE the pitfalls, if any, to opening your chakras.
It scares me sometimes because really its like spiritual surgery, only we can't see what we're operating on. I've listened to many many guided meditations. I have tried color therapy as well. I don't feel like its doing nothing, but that's the best I can say.
Anywaus, all responses are welcome, from "you've got it wrong" to "here's my experience" or whatever.
I'm just happy to find this site.
