WOW... GREAT pictures!!!! I love what you did with them, Stephen.
Keep posting them!!

I don't know if this is the right place to post an ordinary photograph,
but I wanted to share them with another member (White Wolf) and
can't seem to get them to come up in a PM.

This is the full blooded Timberwolf we helped raise from the age of
seven weeks with a friend. The Timberwolf is my totem animal, and
this one was magnificent, wise, benevolent, and taught us much. Here
he is in our front room, "sandwiched between our Samoyed mix on
the left and our German Shepherd on the right...they, along with we,
constituted his surrogate "pack"

The second picture was taken at a mountain meadow we frequented
with him and our dogs, because it was a place we could get away
from people (with the exception of his human pack members, he was
deathly afraid of all human beings, his mama wolf having taught him
well and imprinted that strongly in his psyche! What a rare privilege
to have won his trust, and even more so, his love...

[Please forgive the striations in the prints. They were printed on
linen textured photo paper way back in the 80's, and that is the
"pattern" you see]

I easily agree with Dream Angel, LightFH! Impressive partners!

I had a friend who traveled with a Wolf that looks "very" similar to yours. This was at least 40 years ago. I had picked
him up hitchhiking, he was on his way to Canada, I had just left Florida. We stopped at Yellowstone and were hiking one of the trails
with the wolf just a little ahead of us without a leash. He would frighten the ****ens out of just about everybody coming the
other way.. they thought he was a wild marauder, even with that steady big grin he was sporting! :^)

Thanks for posting the pictures! I tried working with them a little in photoshop but the lines in the pictures are tough to
get around... I may return to them on and off to see if there's a creative way of dodging the lines.... the pictures are worth it! :^)

And this last one was actually a bracketed exposure (2 f-stops over, 2 under, and a normal exposure) out of the back door of our home in
spokane a couple of years ago... :^)

Amen! :^) My online folder shows over 1300 images that I've uploaded over time, with most of those being edit related. The majority are process edits, meaning
the edits have value mostly in relation to what I was working on at the time. The real art related ones are kinda sprinkled among the bunch and will
probably occur more often now that my learn-curve is leveling off a bit.

I'll likely post a few more from my past collection and from then-on post only the new stuff that I do.

It is fascinating though going back over this last year and a half, and watching as aspects of this editing thing was becoming clear little bits at a time.

It really does take a million little things to all come together in various way to form a distinct and creative whole... :^)

LightFilledHeart, thank you for the photos. They - the dogs and the wolf - are all very beautiful.

Stephen, please pardon my ignorance, but as a person who born and raised in a country that is mostly desert, how do you get out the door when it's snowed in up to the roof???

Good morning Stephen !

Over 1300 photo edits ? WOW ! Hopefully you have backed these up somehow.

The girl with the purple tint and lips, looks very Halloweenish ! And the " Taste the Rainbow " one is so cute ! I am trying to remember, seems there was a candy ad with a similar phrase, little colored candies, about the size of M & Ms.... do you remember the candy name ? it has escaped my memory at the moment ...

At one time you were going thru a certain, shall we say, stage or area of interest in the photo editing. I think you were into making videos and adding music, is this still one of your areas of interest , or are you more into the individual photo editing ? I was going to say basic editing, but I think even the basic editing is more complicated than meets the eye !

Wishing you a wonderful day !
