what is the diffeerence between self realization god realization?
I have been having out of body expirences from last 6 years and feeling a great change in me in terms of freedom from fear of death, reduced interest in sense pleasures, reduce in ego intensity etc and from the book i followed, it has been given that many more out of body expirences lead to self realization. Now my question is how is self realization different from god realization which many kundalini people talk abt (i.e. god realization). And when i read abt kundalini and stuff, it resonates with astral projection ( i.e. disociating soul from ego). So i am a bit confused between the self realization and god realization terms. So it would be better if any self realized person or some experinced person in these things can explain it. And please explain me in simple english words as english is not my first language.

When first realizing self as others you will see a difference at this point god is perfect, the universe is perfect. Some keep seeking to be perfect.
when this path is followed internally you come to see you are god/universe experiencing itself. There is no difference between you and others.
Enlightened self realized souls accept being imperfect as the they understand everything is imperfectly perfect. God realization is understanding everything is god.

god realization is the energetic component of oneness. as expressed in the body as bliss. that oneness literaly flows through oneself in feeling and uses the human nervous system to express itself as joy/love in feeling.

Badcopyinc and running gave you nice simple English answers. I will just add to that:
To know self is to be able to answer the question "Who am I?"
To know god is to be able to answer the question "Who am I?"

An out-of-body experience is an experience of your energy body. It's one way of beginning to realize you are not your physical body. Our physical body is only one of several "bodies" we live in.

Self realization and God realization are the same to me.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.

I also feel that Self realisation is internally focused and God realisation is externally focused, but neither path is wrong, because they lead to the same awareness anyway.
For example, many will have a self-focused view and relate everything to a single "centre of the universe"... Others, like myself believe that the centre of the universe is everywhere and can't be restricted to a certain point...And both viewpoints are correct.
I see God as being a separate entity from myself, but totally inclusive OF it and I am but a "part of God" or The Lord dwells within my heart and I dwell with His...thus, I am "God realised, but not SELF realised".
When one sees the Self as being inclusive within itself, so that nothing else exists separate from it, and God does not exist apart from what they are at the core, they become "Self realised but not God realised".

By the way, I am loving Uma's avatar of the Pashupati seal from Mojendro Dharo...
Mulabhandasana is at least 7,000 years old...Long before Yoga was even codefied into any system of formal practice...and one day I shall decipher the Indus Valley script...One day...
