Migraine and Ear

Along time ago my mom used small magnets along the top of her ear to help with her migraines. I have seen other articles about getting the ear pieced in other places to help with migraines. And while I do NOT want my ears pieced (already have once set and that is enough) I would like to see if anyone has had any luck using the magnets and in what location of the ear to help with migraines.
Thanks.
