 hi joan,
People who sufffer from Altzheimers often revert back to childhood,this could be the reason he remembers you now,my friends ex boyfriend who she got three adult sons with,is in a home hes got the same thing hes only 53 hes the youngest person in the home they went to see him, he rememberd my friend and the eldest son,couldnt remember the other two,the woman he left my friend for went to see him he didnt know her started calling her by my friends name.its not personal its the way the brain works they recall things from the past especially when they were young,

He seems to have dropped off now or forgotten about me which eases my mind. He was a guy who I never thought would suffer from that.
Always 'with it' such a shock to see him like this...
I thank you all for your advice....I feel a lot easier now in my mind about him..
