Fair warning, my taste in movies can be a little odd and
I have a feeling the ending was pretty depressing Steven himself described the ending as "nihilistic" haha. I will send you a check for therapy

Well, it's a long movie still working through it, I love King's insanity? Maybe he has the correct view, we live out our lives in a fine bubble and when it pops we see just how fragile we are. Look at the pandemic, people are starting to ignore the fact that it's not going away anytime soon.

Aliens, Gods, Demons, Heaven, and Hell. Who is the author of this life?

The Bardos of life, death, and all the rest, I am just a passenger.

I get therapy from a ride on my bicycle.

Now it's Nature vs the Church

God laughs being both

We are nature

God allows some dark ****...

Love is all we need to get along.

You know what's happening

It's seeing
The simple wonder of it all.

Where is the laughing/crying emoji?!! I had forgotten how long the movie is hahaha... And slow too It was just one of those movies where I was like, what the what?! What did I just watch?!
We are indeed fragile, I sometimes find that thought to be liberating, nothing like the certainty of death to help me focus on meaning and bring me into the now.

Watching the 80's langoliers when I was 6, for whatever reason it stuck in my conciousness to become relevant again decades later. The theme reminds me of the "2020 vision" people sometimes refer to.

I have not had a chance to watch "in the tall grass" yet, I have been busy learning how to control a virtual motorbike and playing non virtual basketball. I am going to watch it tonight.

My therapy at the moment is kicking a soccer ball down the beach

"Never trust a realtor"
That is one thing I got out of the movie.

I liked the movie, I even went for a walk through a grassy field straight after just to relive it in my warped imagination as I listened out for the sound of screaming grass under foot.

I had to laugh at the screaming grass shots, I have never heard grass scream quite like that. I am imagining that is what I would hear when I mow the grass if I could hear over the mower engine!

Man, I am not quite sure if I would love or fear meeting Steven, I have heard some thriller/horror writers say that the reason that they are so nice is because they get all their dark shadows out on the pages. I am going to hesitantly take them on their word LOL.

The tall grass was entertaining with all the time loops and confusion around time, I forget how the story ended, it was a year ago when I watched it?

I'm still working through the Mist, had to shut it down last night too much blood for one night. Pick it up tonight just because I need to see how this ends!

Always ready for more entertainment. Is that not what life is?

Cheers.

Well, we may as well be entertained, otherwise it all might start to feel like one sick joke haha.

Sweetness and Stupidity - a rediculous poem about how I know nothing but uncertainty.

I am blind,

Just like you,

I place both feet into

Holey shoes and walk

Blindly towards the light.

We all fumble,

We all fall...

Yet with the blind confidence of

Sacred fools...

We still somehow manage

To walk tall

Towards the light.

We all fall

We are like infants and the light knows

I just keep rolling along with the Grace from the Lord above..
