I''m sorry, but I really think your sad and tired caricature of our extradimensional neighbors is rather unfair. So can we dispense with the worn out stereotypes already? I mean if they can order takeout from anywhere in the universe, I doubt they would be opting for a brunch of acne cratered, pencil necked, wedgy butted, geek physicists, don't you?

Good God Percy, not bloody codswallop! Sounds like the universe is a bit congested and is going to be hacking something up. That's disgusting, keep those dimensional doors shut for gods sakes, before the whole planet is up to its bloody arm pits in slimy gooey quantum codswallop... I think I am going to be sick just thinking about it. I say! This is over the top irresponsible, what do those yodeling fools at Cern have to say for themselves.

It's codswallop.
Yes, I heard you the first post, but keep going man! Keep repeating it until they listen, this is a matter of life and death! Someones got to raise the alarm!

Sounds like an inter-dimensional prison transporter arriving from the fifth dimension bringing back another person who wants to be in the fifth dimension but in reality acts like a third dimension person.

Biblical references and dimensional gates aside, what makes anyone think that CERN physicists have suddenly gained fluency in ancient languages and have gone back to reinterpret the Bible or a papyrus? Ancient languages and physics don't often intersect.

Why would they be using 666 or 616 in their computations and equations in the first place? That's like working out some quadratic equations for your calculus class and suddenly saying "Hmmm... what if I set X equal to 666?" What happens is you get some sort of mathematical answer, or more likely gibberish, but certainly not a hadron collider or a portal.

Sounds like it may well be manufactured "news" made to stir up controversy. Just my opinion.
