Strong Movie Theme Patterns

I don't see a lot of movies, but I do have my favorites. A couple months ago when I was journaling, I thought I would list my favorite movies - the ones i have the strongest feelings for and cry because it "moves" my soul so much. I also feel like I have a connection with some - like a blind or vague yearning express my feelings, though I can't explain why I cry usually.

Anyways, I noticed similar themes when journaling about them. I've wondered if these movies are also indicative of past life clues, because of the stronger innate connection that comes from them, compared to other movies. I haven't done much past life regression stuff, but I'm interested in it. I'm not even sure if I have any past lives, to be honest.

Nobody can give you an answer, and you can't sift the truth from the answers you get.

I suggest you try to find out for yourself directly, by opening a communication path to your subconscious (e.g. by using self-hypnosis), then ask whatever questions you have, including to be shown past lives. I did and do it.

Well, your answer is no fun. I'm still curious about these patterns I pick up. There's gotta be a reason why I feel more connection with these movies over others.

I had a reading from a medium some time ago. In that reading he said this: this soul began to learn those traits of loyalty which would remain to serve well over the centuries. Being a dependable friend and companion to all ever since has become a trademark.

A couple of years ago I watched the movie Taking Chance with Kevin Bacon. It's about how a soldier escorted a dead soldier back home. At the end of the movie I don't think I have ever cried so hard. Never again will I watch that movie. It just touched me to deeply.

sometimes stuff in the 'real world' reminds me of other times and places. I got quite a lot of clues about what went by in the past, from movies... and even if a movie doesn't particularly resonate with me it might tell me something about someone else, or about life at large :)

Yes, there could be pattern in movies related to your personality traits. Who you are, what you are attracted to, what you want...

For me, quick conclusion, about movies that i liked, are strong individual personality, smarter than others that overcome troubles by his abilities of overpowering the opponent and then moving forward.

Maybe this is what i would more to be like.

I used to like aggresive and violent movies, mafia scene and westerns. Survival is often, primal instincts.

So what is your movie pattern like? Why do you cry?

Bye.

These favorite movies of mine have to do with finding home, or finding someone. Some have to deal with India or the movie is somehow related to India. One has to do with reincarnation. Two have to do with love despite space or time. I usually cry at the most emotional point of the movie (where they reunite or find each other), though I can cry other times in the movie too. I haven't discretely determined this, but it seems that there is a particular part of the general theme that overlaps between these movies as well.

As you can see, it's easy to put together a story from these observations. But I'm trying not to assume things.

I don't feel like its just emotional movies. Otherwise, Disney's "Inside Out" would be one of them, and I didn't feel like this made it to my favorite bin.

A movie is called Serko:

Quote:
His Evenk friend shot dead by the corrupt politician's thuggish supporters, an eighteen year-old Cossack saddles the recently deceased's pony-sized steed and prepares to make the 4,000 mile trip to St. Petersburg in hopes of ensuring that the czar fulfills his promise to protect the indigenous population of Siberia. The year is 1889, and the malevolent followers of a corrupt governor have offered to trade guns and flour to the Evenks for a special herd of horses. When teenage Cossack Dimitri Pechkov (Aleksei Chadov) sees murderous henchman Bouvarine (Nikolai Smirnov) gun down his Evenk acquaintance, he soon makes it his mission to ensure that no further harm comes to the peaceful tribe. Despite the fact that Dimitri has never ventured beyond the borders of the small village in which he was born, his drive to earn the respect of his distant father prompts the brave youngster to rechristen his fallen friend's horse Serko and brink the matter to the czar's attention. Over the course of the next 193 days, Dimitri finds his noble quest growing increasingly arduous as the fearful governor sets out to insure that his message never reaches the powerful monarch.
The movie somewhat parallels the family story about a Far North East lone hunter (Siberian Yakut/Evenk or Dolgan) ancestor’s of mine journey through Siberia on a horse - whose life I seem to ‘remember’. Yet my grandmother was never even allowed to mention anything at all about her father’s line due to racial discrimination fears, the same way my Skolt Saami related ancestry was to be kept as a secret.

I bought the (French Canadian?) movie DVD with English subtitles and I absolutely love it, it is a rare gem:
