Did Jesus Have a Soul
Jesus came into the world and incarnated the flesh.
The son of God!
The Holy Spirit came with Him!
Did Jesus have a soul?

Being the son of God I would from a Christian perspective rationalize that he would not have a soul.
Being.. the trinity.. of the Godhead, Father, Son, And Holy Spirit, I don't think so.
Souls are created by God within the Christian "understanding", I have a soul.
It is said....

I never figured out what a 'soul' actually is, so it would be ludicrous for me to attempt to answer

That is a good answer, what is the soul after all.
After we die, is it not the soul, our true God granted "Essence" that continues down the paths of consciousness and the uncreated lights.
Outside of time, space, and matter,.. we are.
But Jesus is uncreated, the eternal Godhead... you know.
God.

otoh we were created in the image of god... whatever that means... so even though I find it silly to go around claiming 'each of us is god' like some do maybe there is more similarity than it would seem from just thinking of god as some sort of abstract creator

What does "otoh" mean?
We are.. participants.. in Gods glory and lights.
Non-duality, say, gives us the same footing as Gods? Ok.. However, I can make nothing new in creation.
Give glory to God for that, it seems impossible with that non-duality attitude.
It would be easy to follow God, if God was there on a hilltop with bolts of lightning to burn the none believers.
But God is not there on a hill, and I can see the divine wisdom in that!
So whats the truth?
To know the truth you need to pray, have faith, and be open to God/Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Thats the bridge Jesus is, the only way back to the source. Was that not said before? And I get it.
I have my days when I wonder truly.. just what is going on.
It's amazing how my faith can move me.

Well, this probably doesn't really help, but I thought I would throw it out there...
I've recently started considering the Holy Trinity as an "image of God" that we, humans (at least) resemble. In other words, we each have a tri-system which is us individually. By ways of understanding, we might think of this tri-system as body, mind, and soul. God Himself, also having these qualities. What we call God is mind. Who we call Jesus, the body, and what we know as the soul, the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our tri-system is that "image of God."

A soul is a spiritual being that God gave birth to and lives in the spirit world but from time to time comes to incarnate in a physical body and becomes and human being and upon death the human being disintergrates and the body remains on earth, the soul goes back to the spirit world together with the mind (the mind is also a spiritual being that is part of the human being).
Jesus have a soul. He had it while he was incarnating as a human being and he still has it now in the spirit world or heaven.
