Angel1 things i ask myself

I think we are all scared to die, or at least not scared of dying but of what comes after that... I ask myself once in a while if there's life after this one. I belief that there is, I think its absurd for God to waist so much energy to create something so beautiful and powerful for it to end so quickly... just a couple of years ... I think we will have a new journey after we die, to where we will go is still a mystery to me... what do you guys think ?

I'm not afraid of death, because as far as I know we don't really die--it's Game Over for this particular avatar, but the one who is playing her takes a break and comes back for a new round.

I had an experience years ago that showed me there is an ongoing, eternal existence beyond these bodies and this earth, and it killed (haha) my fear of death. If anything, I feel a bit envious of the people (and animals) I've known who made their exits--they got to shuck off their dense, heavy bodies and go home!

I've still got things to do here before it's Game Over for me (and I'm thoroughly enjoying the game now that I've remembered who I am and what I'm doing here), so I won't make any move to follow them anytime soon. But death isn't the great threat or lurking horror it used to be, which has freed me from an immense burden of anxiety as I carry out this life.

If I'm afraid of anything, it's that slipping out of the ol' meatsuit might not be a quick and clean process. I've seen too many people do it in terrible, protracted ways, and would really prefer not to do that. But I'll face that situation if and when I get to it.

Hi menchanchie,
Welcome here.

I'm putting a random quote of a near death experience, NDE, that I hope
will open the door to your reading many more on the NDE site
www.nderf.com ...NDE Research Foundation.

Enjoy

I remember feelings and impressions. I did not see a tunnel. I did not see a light. I did not have a life review.
I did not see Jesus or any other enlightened being. My experience was different from most Near Death Experiences.

I simply had this profound experience of Love, Oneness and Freedom.

I went from being in my body to being in a place of absolute Love. I can only describe it like being in a swimming pool,
but even my body was filled with this Loving.
I was one with it, but also apart from it.
I was still me, but I was far more than me.
I was one with everything - and it was ALL good.
I did hear beautiful music, but it wasn't like our music.
The music itself was part of me, but I don't think I was singing. It was more like it was just part of me and I was part of it,
but it was much more than just me. I felt weightless and free - absolutely free.

I was enfolded in this Loving, and was part of it too.
There was not one single part of me, or part of anything else, that was not love. Individuals did not exist in the same way as we do here.
I was still me, but I was also part of The Loving.

I simply KNEW things without hearing a single spoken word.
I WAS love.
I KNEW religions had it wrong, all religions.
There is no way rules and judgment could low from THIS.
They made it all so complicated when really it was very easy.
There IS only Love and we're all part of it.
There is NO way we cannot be loved - no matter what.
We ARE love.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

I too did not know if there was anything else after this life. My sister in law died about 2 years ago and has visited me many times. I believe 100% in an afterlife, I do not need anymore proof than this.
