my example of how existence can exist, not why it exists.

50/50 coin flip
heads- potential
tails- absolute nothingness

keep flipping and you get a universe, this is proven true because, we exist, we can observe ourselves existing

why is there a universe, why did the big bang occur, what caused the reaction? i dont know, but, the pinnacle, the infinite source is unconditional love.

Hawking says that universe can create itself because of the law of gravity.

If someone understands what he is talking about let me know.

Here is the article:

Thats where I am up to with your question in this moment ... a play on words maybe however like Gem expressed, some will agree and others will shake their heads and tell me I fail to see

Perhaps.

Perhaps not.

How can you know this?

You speak of it matter-of-factly.

What if the one who has the answer does not use conventional means to express it, (I assume that you assume he/she/"it" would use words/language) but if you DO then you've already subtly placed a limit on 'the answer,' no?

Perhaps the answer transcends language and thought. Maybe thats what precisely makes it the 'true answer.'

Through advancing conventional science, we can certainly broaden our knowledge of the evident part of reality, but only through refining the same five sensory organs we have always had and nothing more. However, this will not allow us to make a quantum leap and discover a new dimension.

Kabbalah says that we can develop an additional sense that will allow us to perceive the reality beyond. Yet, we should be aware that we will find it opposite to the one we see today. Currently our perception of reality depends on our ability to absorb it by means of our five corporeal sensory organs: sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. The sensations supplied by these organs are called our world.

But we have an ability to develop additional perceptions. It doesn’t mean to receive additional arms, legs, tastes, or such, but to step outside our self through developing another five organs of perception: Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut. In these extra organs of perception, which are completely opposite to the corporeal ones, we begin perceiving all that takes place outside of us.

Purpose of Existence

This means that our perception becomes limitless and we exit into an endless open space. We see all the worlds. Our ability to perceive them depends solely on how developed our spiritual organs of perception are. We are not limited to our body which is bound by how much we are able to consume till satiated. Now everything depends upon how far we can expand.

We then begin to grasp all forces, thoughts, desires, tasks, and the purpose of creation: the whole world around us. We begin to understand what is happening within us. In contrast, without this knowledge, we will never understand what is happening around us and how it impacts us, neither in the world nor within our self.

The science that teaches how to step out of self and unveil life in the Upper dimension is called the wisdom of Kabbalah. When we finally exit our ego and begin exploring the universe, we discover the purpose of creation, why everything exists.

When we step out of our self, we break free from the restrictions of our tiny body and rise above time, motion, and space; that is, we rise above the corporeal perception of reality in its three axes of coordinates: up-down, left-right, back-forth. We stop experiencing time for there is no time in that reality. We see other causes and effects, meaning that we receive absolutely new properties and abilities, outside of the connection to our animate body.

In the same manner as we are able to see, sense, and understand a person directly in front of us, we have to know and comprehend the whole of reality called the Creator or the Upper Force. Hence, we will feel worse and more restricted in our limited reality until we find a way to step out of it into the open world!

I think that everything depends on something else: we all depend on the air that we breathe to live on the physical plain. We depend on each other so that civilisation can be sustained. So we all exist to create something for others to depend on. The creative energy of the universe is what we ultimately depend on and hence exists for us. It all goes aound in a circle, but we can see this mirrored in so much - take the chicken and the egg puzzle to mention one of many.

Because that is what happens, and as the truth is told belief forms around it, sects arise and perform rituals based on beliefs. The pious and dogmatic become empowered by those that believe them, and where 'truth' is said righteousness surruounds it.

Shall I elaborate more?

ohh.. alright

Imagine for a second that your this great big being.. really big, really beautiful, really wonderful.. but you’re so big.. and you’re so vast and you’re so beautiful.. you can't see yourself..

So you decide to see yourself.. that's the creation story.. in its simplicity.. hope it helps or bewilders

Also food for thought..

Without the creation of this reality?

We'd never have invented the toothbrush.. cause who knew teeth should be scrubbed?

We'd never have invented the IRS.. cause who knew we needed to hate governments?

The list of things invented and created in this universe is vast.. these are just small examples these are the things of allthatis

something I read along this- my journey: by Andrew Cohen (andrewcohen.org)

I have no doubt that the evolutionary process—from the big bang to the present moment—is not merely a random, meaningless event. If one stands back and takes a good, hard look at the entire sweep of the process, all the way from its earliest beginnings, one can see undeniable direction and even, I dare say, purpose in its majestic unfolding. But who or what initiated that process? What energy or intelligence made the choice to take that first miraculous leap from formlessness to form, from nothing whatsoever to energy and light to matter to life to consciousness to self-reflective awareness? Such an audacious move, that instantaneous leap from nothing to the beginning of everything, could only have been made by a force that was nothing less than Godlike. That impulse, that evolutionary impulse, is what I call God. That same impulse is not separate from the most important part of each and every one of us, from our uniquely human drive to create and innovate and, most significantly, from our will to consciously evolve.

As that impulse we have all been here, in some shape or form, throughout the mind-opening, awe-inspiring journey of Becoming that has been unfolding since the time process began. We've been together since infinite density emerged from absolute nothingness when the universe was created. We've been together since atoms, which make up the very foundation of all matter, were formed three hundred thousand years later. We were there when those atoms formed gas clouds, which turned into stars, which grouped together as galaxies, each of which eventually produced billions of solar systems filled with small rocky planets, such as our beautiful Earth, which was forged from the remains of generations of dead stars.

We have been here since the first single-celled microorganisms emerged from the primordial soup and throughout the slow flowering of life in all its diversity. We were here when the great dinosaurs ruled the food chain unchallenged, and through their demise. When the first hominids walked on the African savannah, this impulse, which is who we all are, guided each evolutionary step. And since our ancestors appeared on the stage of life just two hundred thousand years ago, that impulse has guided the vast unfolding tapestry of cultural development that brings us to this present moment.

Throughout this whole process, from the beginning of time to the very edge of the future, as the energy and intelligence that has been driving cosmic, planetary, biospheric, animal, human, and cultural evolution, we have been here at every step. What do I mean by that? I mean that as the evolutionary impulse, as the initiatory force that is driving the entire creative process, from the innermost dimensions of our human interiors all the way to the farthest reaches of our cosmos, we have always been here.
