Freudian Slip or Spiritual Warning

This year is the year I cut ties with the last remaining "friends" that I had as well as an abusive relationship!

It feels really good!

While dealing with those toxic people, my spirituality was strong but was definitely being dimmed and I made plentiful mistakes of constantly giving those people the benefit of the doubt.

People who I reached out to constantly and got little effortin return.

People who only talked to me through social media but never anything fulfilling.

People who only called me to vent and had no empathy for me at all.

One that sticks out is a friend who I remained in contact with from meeting her online. She lived in a different country. There were moments in our friendship where we were talking constantly. Then there were moments when there were large gaps in our communication on both ends. One day I emailed her after not haven spoken to her for 6 months. She replied very dry and said she assumed I had moved on from our friendship. And said I only reach out when things are going well for me. I told her that if she didn't like the gaps she could have reached out herself and didn't have to wait for me to reach out and that it sounded like she was projecting...etc.

She replied with:

"I’m not saying I don’t want things to be bad for you but I don’t know. I guess I’m just confused about or friendship. Sorry if I came off cold Jess. Anyway, I actually hope you are doing good though."

Then she sent another email correcting herself saying "its not that I don't want things to be **good** for you" as if were a spelling error lol. Thats a whole different word altogether.

From that day on when we texted after that which was only for one or two days briefly, my spirit energy told me to just cut ties with her because that slip stayed engrained in my mind. A few months later, I just blocked & deleted her number from my phone and deleted our messages from my feed.

She obviously wished ill on me with her little slip up and thank goddess she did!
