Outside Addict

I... am an outside addict. Just sat down after spending the whole day outside, and oh, I love being outside, especially when the sky is blue, the sun is out, too, and I need no cure from this, only more to find out, what is true to being happy, and healthy free of any words, other than what I have posted here. So, here I am now, not outside, only in memory, and my flesh is still cool on my face, as the feeling lasts, so does the bliss, from being free in the outside.

So am I, Jom. I can't imagine anything better than being outside all day but we are maybe living in really nice places. I know I am. Our beautiful Spring weather which lasted so long has turned to rain now but even that is nice to be outside in, and the earth smells sweet.
Loved these things all my life.

Sitting in this place now as the sun has given us light and life outside as well as in the whole creation of being here as well as there forms a bridge between us all.

I feed the birds and squirrels outside every morning, before I feed myself. Wo, just looked out the window out back as two birds fly close by to the feeders one after another identically following each other... communion with all in nature, as well as in this place we now sit, above as below in now we go.

Aaahhhhh.... love earthhh....aaahhh ... breathe in the air from the trees, and breathe out to give back again... aahhhh gain aahhh gain....

When I'm not outside in love with nature, I'm inside in love with nature, making nature design jigsaw puzzles. Right now am working on a 1500 piece, with about 200 left to complete the hand felt image. But first have to let the dogs in, they are outside in a back fenced in yard. I live on 10 acres of woods and fields.

It sounds lovely where you live, Jom. I bet those dogs appreciate it too.

Just something as simple as spending time with natural environments heals us of many things I think, and balances us. Even people who live in cities can get closer to nature by planting flowers in pots or in window boxes, to encourage urban bees, or tend their roof gardens. Even food, like lettuces, potatoes and other things can be grown in large planters. Then there are parks....and bus or car rides to wilder places to exercise oneself or dogs!
But I wouldn't really like to live in a city now. I have got too used to the earth being around me all the time.

I'm hoping to get outside for a while today, waiting to hear from a friend who's supposed to let me know when he's ready to go for a long walk with his tiny offspring. I feel so great after spending a day outside in sunshine and fresh air! I often think I'd be more mentally stable if I lived someplace where it was summer weather year round.

I walk off into the woods where there were once dirt roads and paths before the construction of current houses, like back in the 1850's, and I just found an old bottle with a date on the bottom... it is 68 years old, and worth $50 online. I'm not planning on selling it, and have cleaned off all the mineral deposits to make it look like new.

Ahhh... I love the smells out in the woods, it's bliss.

It's a cloudy day, and there is no blue sky to see or talk about. The clouds create silence, inside, and rain outside. But not any rain today from the clouds as heard from our weather report, so I can still go out and not be soaked on a walk, but now I just sit. Sitting is a source of enlightenment, outside as well as in, as long as it's not raining, out as in again.

I too love being outside! I'm so happy the long, harsh winter is over and everything is turning green again. My Japanese Red Maple tree is getting ready to pop! I can't wait to see her in all her glory again!!
