Partner doesnt understand ( no more meat )

Hello to whomever is reading ,

I'm dealing with a bit of an issue and im not sure if this is the right place to ask. I've been going through some spiritual changes and i effect have been making different life choices.

I've been trying to cut out meat from my diet and i truly dont miss it at all, the problem is my partner doesnt understand why. I use to be the biggest meat eater there is. For me a meal wasnt a meal unless there was meat, but making meatless/vegan meals is so exciting and like i said i dont miss it at all. I dont know how to explain to him that i dont want to eat it at all. He is normally the most understanding person but he's so stubborn. I no longer feel the need to smoke or have alcohol either but the thing is i never intentionally wanted to stop drinking ( the occasional glass of wine that is lol), I feel like this is all over the place sorry but i'm just at a loss. I hate arguing with him over meat.

Any advice would be welcome.
