Prayerlessness happens even with the most devoted Christians. When we don't feel like praying, perhaps because of feeling lost, etc. is when we should talk to God and tell him that he knows our hearts and to ask Him to draw us nearer to Him. God's not keeping score. He's looking for a genuine heart.
