Coming of age ceremony - native American Indian
Hello,
I am looking for some help/advice regarding something I want to do for my sister. She is turning 18 next week and I have always felt a strong spiritual connection with her. We both have native American Indian connections and I have the urge to perform a coming of age type ceremony or ritual that will prepare her spiritiually. I thought it would be a unique way to celebrate her 18th in todays day and age, and thought it may be special for her to experience this as I know she has ancestors of this kind very close to her now.
So what I am asking for is any tips or steps that I can perform a ritual or ceremony for her, nothing too extravagant but something sweet and true that is traditional of this culture and will do what is necessairy in terms of her progression spiritually and coming of age. Like a series of things/steps I could perform in nature with her.
