Actually I just did an OBE on this today. Though it wasn't meant to be one.
Three of us went - our destination was "Someplace or situation relevant to each of us in this life".
We ended up in a place from which individualized units of consciousness 'dream' themselves into existence through desire. From there they connect up with similar bits of consciousness and dream together making new potentials and realities for themselves together.
We came away with some really head bending knowledge and are still unpacking it all. Bottom line - Consciousness creates matter through imagining and desiring something new.

Very nice way to specify an OBE destination. I have used similar to great results.

Actually what they mean is that within the universe, one can not use energy and matter to create or destroy other energy or matter. Only transformation is possible.

I learned in Physics that the 1st law in thermodynamics says: "Energy Can Not be created or destroyed" Has it been changed?

I think you are right about this. What we mean when we say energy can't be destroyed is take a camp fire for instance. That is energy. The wood in the fire does not vanish, it is not destroyed. The fire transforms into heat and light that is what it gives out. Now the wood can no longer be used to fuel a fire, it has changed chemically and so on. So energy is not destroyed but transformed into say heat and light, but only for a limited time. One of the things we know about energy that it is discrete and there is still energy in the burned wood and can still transform on and on. All forms of energy seem to follow this pattern. The sun creates heat that warms the planet, and light is produced to illuminate space, and the solar winds are also part of the energy (motion), all 3 from energy to transform energy. Probably even others types of energy. Now if I am correct, what can't happen with energy is that the 3 parts become 1 again unless conditions are right. Entropy is achieved moving from specific to random. I hadn't thought about that until you mentioned this.
