An Irish Sky
A couple of lines i managed to scribble down this morning
My friend told me to sing this one so im working on turning it into a song !
An Irish Sky
Painted as on a palette
Fine
The colours of an Irish Sky
Go drifting by
Tawny grey against
Azure blue
Charcoal grey moving
Too
Moving as though to heavens end
Wild, mysterious, promises Blending
Blown on the temperate wind
My eye fixated
Through a window bright
How many layers of my life
of myopic rife
Peeled away
The moment your azure eye
Met mine in an Irish Sky
The moment your eye
met mine in an irish sky
The days are counted
The birds fly away
they cant control their destinies
and yet they stay here
held in Gods Grace
Together they fly in an Irish sky
Together in an irish sky

Sounds like a good deal, when would you like to arrive? I'll have to put my orders in with the Irish weather board ( if such an establishment exists) and apply for a rolling rollicking Cumulus heavy leadened moderately sweeping sky, we will have to get the MPH right though ?
Hey bet there are some great Sunrises in the Aus ..nature is very bountiful and gracious the world over it seems. Greetings !

I will arrive just as soon as my Aus releases me and Ireland accepts me, post covid. No need to contact the Irish weatherboard, part of the appeal of the green land of Ireland is that I might get to experience the phenomenon where water falls out of the sky on a cloudy day. If I could only remember what the stuff is called

Well....? I suppose there is much debate about whether the phrase, "May you live in interesting times." should be considered a curse or a blessing. I will say, the times are in fact interesting. It is fascinating to see this all playing out from within the society instead of reading about it in a history book. But then I am one who likes to sit out on the porch and watch the thunderstorms role by on a summer night.
I expect I would be a fan of that ever interesting Irish sky as well.

Indeed ! Ireland's Weather is forever piebalded dappled, changing. I long for more stability but ive gotten use to it. Hope you get to walk under a peaceful powerful and passionate Irish Sky if it so be your wish. One thing i have found lovely is coming over a hill in a certain area in Galway ( with a mind full of modern day junk i must admit ! ) The light reflects off the Sea, the Sea still being about 10-20 miles away and the light colours the stones in the walls and the fields a certain hue ..perhaps blue but i cant describe it !!! Thank you God for that !! i probably would take a stroll bare foot on the warm earth in the Aus that would be good ! Bet that is nice. Anyways greetings !
