I've been making an effort to be conscious of when I'm contracting and shutting down to my feelings in the last week or two, and I was on the bus the other day , feeling a little tense, when I looked out of the window and saw a sign that read 'NOW OPEN.'
Obviously it alluded to a store opening, but it was just what I needed to see at that moment. In fact I've seen a few advertising slogans just recently that really made me sit up - one that said 'reborn,' another that said 'discover happiness inside' (it meant inside a tub of ice-cream
) Of course you shouldn't get too attached to the words, but it's the kind of thing that makes me think there's a benign presence watching over me that's trying to point me in the right direction, if I'm willing to listen
