Energy Circulation and ill health
I've asked a similar question in the meditation section, but as it's more specific to Taiji/Qigong, I'm hoping that others may share their views or experience here.
I have been told that it's not a good idea to practice energy circulation, Taiji/Qigong or Yoga when you have a virus or bug, as that can feed it and make it more virulent. Although I have practised these systems for nearly 20 years, I'm still struggling with energy circulation and healing applications. Any thoughts?

So, why not remove all pathologies from your body, and the energy circulation
will not be a problem any longer.
I have to say, I practiced Tai chi during the 80th, Daoist Yoga during most of the 90th and early 00th and practice my own systems these days. I can not remember if I stopped Daoist Yoga when I had a cold or if I got a cold at all.
I did not have colds or flu for a long time. And when I feel the first signs I simply remove everything from my body.

Thankyou Rah Nam. The problem is, I'm not sure how to remove them - that's why I say I'm struggling. I don't know if it's some sort of block, lack of awareness, lack of concentration, or ignorance. I feel like I'm deaf and blind to these things - and trying to find some way of going forward.

I don't use Chi gong or daoist yoga to do it but my connection with my, what I call the divine self. There are systems around that teach how to create a connection, but I found them to cumbersome.
In regards to circulating energies while having flu virus or cold bugs in our body. Are you familiar with the lesser enlightenment of Kan and Li? It should burn off your intruders.

Thankyou again for your advice. I'm not familiar with it, but I'll look into it. It does look rather involved from the links I've found with Google - but I have come across Mantak Chia's books.
