An interesting thought. Have you ever done something you know you shouldn't have but still did what you shouldn't have. If you're not aware of it, you're unable to change your mind. As I read your post I'd ask does a person who does wrong know it. Of course they do. A person can even know good but still not do it. I think we find it is the reason that we do is often more important then concept of good or bad.

To me it's about awareness of both and then freedom to choose.

i would call that balance.
