Rapture and the devil
Everyone has seen parts of those movies, left behind, right? Oh so my dream started with the exact playthrough of the trailer, with clothes just left where people once we're and everyone being like...where is everyone? Anyway. A group of very white tv special adventurers, complete with one female in a pack of makes, go down to hell to stop the devil from doing whatever he plans to do. The devil is doing a ceremony to bring a devil mother out of like...a deeper hell. I dunno. Hell looked like a desert and they were at the base of a mesa. Anyway. The devil is surprised to see these people come at him but he finishes his ritual or whatever by drawing a circle on the ground with a stick and the end of the circle trails off as if by magic into the distance. The ground opens up but there's no earthquakes or anything. There's nothing inside there. The people run away because they think the devil is going to come after them but he's just kinda confused. Then I woke up.

The dream doesn't have any meaning. It is just a dream. But I hear people saying that the antichrist will require a "special mother" whom the devil would choose.

It is the belief you put on you.. but what I feel is every dream has a proper meaning and it symbolizes your past and future.

Well, either way it was vivid enough for me to remember. It may have just been a mishmash of different things I've seen, from Lucifer to Left Behind to every teen action show with 3 white guys and 1 white girl.

Could be related to reading the books but may symbolizes a thinking pattern within you that keeps repeating (circle) and goes no where. Clothes symbolize our attitudes, the face or front we put on maybe who we think we should be or who we want to be. Fancy, casual, proper, etc. In this instance, those false fronts were left behind maybe to go deeper into the issue. The issue maybe being related to what is considered devil behavior. Most people put on a front for who they think they want to be or who they think society wants them to be or to hide some aspect of themselves from the world or even themselves. Many people also have been taught to have a guilty conscious. Religion especially can do this to people, make them believe they are sinners at heart. It isn't true. As much as we can fear evil people or evil behavior, what they really are isn't evil but just confused. And they will keep repeating their negative behavior until the confusion is resolved but it never makes them bad in the eyes of God.

Yeah I am in Jesus school right now (the university I ended up at) and they make us take a few Christian classes. I got to read about how I'm going to hell for being bi. So. Yeah. It was fun reliving that guilt.
Uh, I dont know what else it could mean. I'm pretty straightforward with who I am to the world. I don't have a facade.

whatever you think about during your waking times is what you will dream about. So if you spend a lot of time thinking about the devil, god, rapture, etc. then you will dream about it too. Even if you haven't thought about it recently, if its in your subconscious then it has the chance to appear in a dream.
I wouldn't think too deeply on it. It's just a dream after all. It's not a premonition of the future and its nothing to worry about.
btw I've read that a desert is often symbolic of suffering. Maybe your dream was less about the devil and raising the anti christ, and more about how the evil of mankinds choices is causing the earth to suffer.
dreams are symbolic anyways, they are rarely what they appear to be. Also a desert often symbolizes the physical realm. So seeing an evil person in a desert is like seeing the symbolic evil in all people in the physical realm. And seeing them doing some kind of evil ritual to bring something out of the earth might be symbolic of like mining and other forms of resource extraction from the earth.

I suspect the feelings they conjured up in you about religion and being bi were played out in the dream. Quite frankly it's ridiculous to me that a religion who claims be loving would condemn certain people. That's not unconditional love and so I chose to live by spritual as opposed to religious values.
