what does it mean if you dream you’re looking through the peephole of your door to check if the guy you’re interested in is coming? i was at the apartment i used to live when i was younger (in my hometown). felt like before that scene we were close to each other and the feeling was of mutual interest
before sleeping i asked the universe “what message do you have for me concerning [name]?”

it shows your anxiousness at receiving information on the topic.
apparently, there were no 'signs' (such as the sound of footsteps)
which had prompted you to take a peek(?).
it also has an element of "past business" to it, in that the setting
was a prior apartment... and the feeling that 'mutual interest'
was established even earlier.
