I'm off the school of thought that if you want the best and healthiest food.....you should grow it and kill it yourself....which is mostly what we do in my family.

I read this article before. I can't believe I didn't make a comment then. We eat nothing but organic grass fed beef, we also harvest deer, antelope ourselves a used to also include elk, but now that it's just the two of us, it's to much meat. Also organic poultry only.

As far as gardening, I can't. We have to many mosquitoes where we live and in 2012 I got West Nile Meningitis. Being out weeding, and general garden things just puts me at to much risk.

It'll be a long time before a store of this sort makes it our way. I have contacted all 4 health foods store chains that are in Colorado Springs and Pueblo (35-45 miles away from where I live) and asked them to consider a store here. They would have no competition as far as a health food store and we are out in the middle of nowhere. Though we have a healthy population and also hold the County seat. I can hope.

Sure, sure. Very true.. However when everyone does it, you start to run out of product. When you start to run out of product you start to cut corners. When you start to cut corners you start to engineer and make things easier to produce and cheaper to make. So they are able to truly capitalize on ones bang for the buck so to speak. Where do you think that junk processed food came form in the first place? We had organic, fresh, and healthy foods. We just wanted foods to be cheaper and easier to mass produce. Destroying healthy in the process.

Have only been once, but from what I recall Colorado is a very healthy, clean, easy-going, and lovely place to live. It gave the impression that it embraced and encouraged outdoor physical activities, along with a healthy life style in general. I, for one, was in awe of the quantity of hiking, biking, and walking trails alone.
Excellent on you on contacting them and putting in your request!
*fingers crossed for you ...and don't feel too bad, its takes twice as long for anything like that to hit the east coast.
Time to start manifesting!

Your right trails are all over the place. Colorado has many pristine places. Rivers, lakes and mountains where ever you go.

I needed to be reminded of that.
