I asked one spirit what he was doing in heaven that he enjoyed and he told me "fishing." Perhaps being on a lake fishing is that spirit's idea of a perfect place.

There are fish in heaven? Wonder how the fish feels being fished.. Makes me wonder if heaven/non-heavel (i wont say hell) are some how connected, and two beings can be in the same place at the same time and one experiences bliss while the other may still suffer in the same scenario

Namaste
Color ...and 'things' that are not even things. Things we have no words for ...and energy , an equally inadequate word . It is beautiful beyond imagination or description .... and probably full of Chihuahuas

According to Talking Heads , Heaven is a place where nothing ever happens .
Song : 'Heaven', album : 'Fear Of Music' . No mention of chairs , but there is a party that never ends , so I don't expect they need chairs. (or do they ?)

Some are specific and worldly, such as world peace, social harmony and utopia.

Eastern religions say we all are part of the One, and therefore it is our duty to look after it, clean it, protect it, preserve it and fulfil it.

Sometimes, I imagine my heaven as an arcane sanctuary, where from the exterior, it is a diminutive house or temple, but as you enter, it is an infinite plane. Sometimes, I prefer ultimate solitude and would like to own my own universe metaphysically entirely different and in parallel with the current one. It could be where everything is computerised.

Sometimes, it is a sacred library. Sometimes, it is no civilisation but fully natural beauty and primitive world.

Sometimes, it is an immortal astronaut living in a space capsule travelling in hyperspace.

Values change and so are perceptions of heaven.

Anyone who reads this, please do share your perceptions, values and ideas of heaven.

I personally like to believe that heaven and hell are states of mind. If you are self-aware or mindful, you can create a heaven in the midst of hell.

And if you are unconscious and steeped in desires and cravings , you can create a hell in heaven itself.

This is my own observation.

With respect to the heaven and hell in afterlife, there is reference to this in Paramahamsa Yogananda's 'Autobiography of a Yogi' , where Yogananda's guru, Sri Yukteshwar, who had died, resurrected and speaks with Yogananda on his experience in the afterlife, and the astral universe and planets, where he abides. It was very interesting and logically put, and I enjoyed reading it.

American football, or Futbol/Soccer ?...
Not that it matters .

In heaven there are no concussions and everybody wins Football.

In Soccer heaven everybody scores a goal, even the goalkeepers , and nobody flops, ever.

In my heaven I play with Dr. J. and even dunk on him once in a while .
Chocolate Thunder rockin' the rim on Planet Lovetron is not a fantasy
in my heaven ; it's just another afternoon of hoops
