Having fun with a baby

In my dream last night,

I was with a baby, we were doing fun things together. The baby kept coming over to me and was so happy. I lifted him up and hugged him as he sat down with me we both leant back and forth singing 'rolling, rolling, rolling on the river' synchronising together.

Someone walked in and said 'you taught him that?!' In a surprised voice.

(As it was a baby, he couldn't even talk yet but in the dream I had taught him to do that) he did it with such ease around me in a way he wasn't around other people.

Then a bit of paper appeared with all wonderful drawings on it for him.

His mother came in and we watched him play and I said to her..

'Have you had to use your imagination a lot since you've had a child?

She said 'yeah, but the child's imagination is so intelligent'

I said 'I feel like I understand the child's imagination so well, more than adults actually'

The baby carried on being super happy. (In the dream the mother showed little interest in viewing the world through the child's eyes, but I seemed so comfortable and interested)

Babies are generally new ideas we birth. This isn't necessarily your baby so maybe you are learning to work with, nurture and grow an idea that you picked up somewhere else but you are taking it to a new level even the person who passed the idea along took it. Water equates to emotions and I would say teaching him the song could mean learning to be in the flow and rhythm of life, happy and content in a state of allowing where all good things come our way. The dream to me points to good progress on your part. As well never give up the wide eyed wonder of a child. That is a sign of being open to learning and growing. Something that sometimes can get lost as we become older adults set in our ways.

That baby was you yourself, you are synchronising with your self in every way. This dream is all about how you feel about your new Self.

Thanks again! I love that. That's so interesting! I definitely felt that the baby represented an aspect of myself. I also feel like I'm embracing the child-like aspects of myself and not hiding it now.
